Lucy – Veterinary Surgeon
Hello I am Lucy! I am one of the vets here at Bright Side and started formally in July 2019. I am originally from Yorkshire and studied to be a vet at Surrey University. I always knew I wanted to be a vet and worked with animals as often as I could for work experience when I was younger around 14-15, but also worked in and out of bars to help me out in between studying! You may see me here at Bright Side when you bring your furbaby to us for any reason, also for routine surgical procedures, but I do have a keen interest in small furries and exotic pets!
When I am not at work, I enjoy some time relaxing at home where I like to cook and watch a good movie or series, but I also really love stargazing and own a few telescopes so I can see the stars and planets alike! I have a cockerpoo called Farley and we enjoy lots of adventures together! I also have an adorable little hamster called Pearl. If I could own any animal it would be an otter, or a whole fun house full of little rats as they are so fun to own!
