Melting Ulcer For Boss – Ophthalmology Case Study

Boss presented with a very painful left eye at the beginning of August. Here we follow his journey through our new Ophthalmology process. Boss was diagnosed with a melting ulcer and marked conjunctival chemosis. Boss was anaesthetised to further examine the eye and to ensure there was no foreign body present in the conjunctival sac, no foreign body was found.   Boss was given an intensive protocol of drops which his dedicated owner applied six times daily. Seven days later, Boss’ eye healed, with the cornea now fluorescein negative.
